Save The Date! World’s Largest Gathering Of Dogs & Cats Comes Early This Year To The Javits Center September 28 & 29 New York, NY – New York City is going to the dogs and cats once again when the American Kennel Club® (AKC®) and The International Cat Association (TICA) join forces to host the fifth annual AKC Meet the Breeds® event on September 28th and 29th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

For a second year, TICA co-hosted Meet the Breeds with the American Kennel Club (AKC) in New York City. This year tens of thousands of cat-and dog-lovers poured into the Jacob Javits Center on October 20-21 to see in person more than 160 breeds of cats and dogs. Pet lovers also had the chance to see the Parade of Breeds and learn about cat genetics, breeds and cat care from TICA experts.

TICA co-hosted the 2011 Meet the Breeds with the American Kennel Club (AKC) in New York City on November 19-20. More than 160 breeds of cats and dogs were on hand for the pet lover to meet in "purr-son".
