Congratulations for A Winning Season
May 1 marked the beginning of the 2009-2010 show season
which included shows hosted by new clubs in new cities or
countries! And of course July begins the time to celebrate
your winning cats and kittens at the upcoming regional awards
banquets, and the grandest celebration of all at our
Annual
Awards Banquet in Orlando, Florida!
This year is even more special for TICA, our members and
exhibitors because it's our 30th Anniversary. On June
1, TICA ushered in a new decade that will be filled with
anticipated worldwide growth, fun and improved member services,
the addition of new exciting shows and the acceptance of
new breeds that will continue to make our organization the
most progressive in the cat fancy!
So as the summer days get hotter, let's take time to
remember last show season and all of the fun you had with
your felines, and your TICA friends and "family".
I'm very proud of all of our members and other exhibitors,
and all of the cats and kittens that graced the show halls
around the world!
Congratulations to all of you, and your beautiful cats.
Remember, TICA is alive because of you. And also remember,
wherever you are, you're in TICA's world! And, happy
anniversary TICA!

Cats Take Norway By Storm
Forty-nine felines strutted their stuff at the first
TICA show to be held in Norway! NORticats hosted the eight-ring
show which was held in Porsgrunn, Norway, on June 20 and
21.

TICA Takes On Cyberspace
Since being launched the end of March 2009, TICA's
new web site has taken off in cyberspace! Not only has it
increased in traffic rankings in Google, Yahoo and MSN,
but we also now have a presence on
Twitter and
Facebook.
We're still adding features and content to the site
to make it a richer source of information for members, exhibitors
and other cat lovers.
