Congratulations to the 2008-2009 Winners
It's September...Labor Day has passed...and that
means one thing: we've honored the 2008-2009 Winners
at our Annual Banquet in Orlando, FL.
Despite some overcast skies and rain-filled clouds, we had
a great time celebrating the newly crowned International
winners and TICA's 30th Anniversary. The Southeast Region
did a fantastic job hosting this year's Annual and Championship
Cat Show.
More than 270 cats were judged in 12 rings at the show and
the spectators enjoyed seeing the many breeds of cats on
exhibit. The Savannah exhibit was one to remember, and the
cats that traveled from around the world were warmly greeted
by exhibitors and others alike.
Thank you to the many vendors who made the show special
for the spectators. And we want to say "welcome"
to our new corporate sponsor,
Embrace Pet Insurance, who was at the show meeting exhibitors
during the two days of judging.
Now it's time to concentrate on the 2009-2010 titles,
and regional and international awards...and plan to celebrate
our future winners at our Annual hosted by Jazzy Cats
on September 4-5 2010 in Santa Clara, California.

Alberto Leal Named Judge of the Year
Congratulations to
Alberto Leal, our new Judge of the Year!
Alberto has been a TICA judge for over 20 years, and a former
Regional Director. He lives in Buenos Aires, and is the
first South American judge to be selected as
Judge of the Year.
Again...let's give Alberto a resounding "congratulations"
when you see him at upcoming shows.

If your Cat, Kitten or Alter was in the 2008-2009 Top 5
for Regional Awards, Royal Canin wants you to be a participant
in the Ambassador Program. The Only requirement to participate
is that you must be an active member of Royal Canin Crown
Partners breeder program (purchasing PRO Feline Nutrition
and recommending Royal Canin to your clients). If you decide
to become an Ambassador, you will be sent a contract which
will be in effect for the term of the current show season.
Royal Canin will reserve the right to advertise your cat.
