Knowledge Base - Correcting a cat's information after a show

If your cat was shown with incomplete or incorrect information, the points won at that show may not be counted for titles or regional awards automatically.

Showing Without a TICA Registration

In order for points to count it is important that you apply for your cat’s registration before you take your cat to a second show. It is no problem at all to show your cat one time without applying for a TICA registration. You can just enter the show and see how you and your cat like the experience. But if you go to another show without applying for a TICA registration first, the points are lost.

Showing With Incorrect or Missing Information

Example Pending Registration Number

You applied for your cat’s TICA registration number right before the second show. You don’t have the registration number yet. The registration number is shown in the catalog as PENDING. A couple of days after the show you receive the registration number.

Reply to the case in TFMS which you used to register your cat. Atlernatively, go to the cat, choose "Request Service >> None of the above" and create a new case. In either scenario you can use the following text:

Example Incorrect Registration Number

After the show is over you realize the registration number in the catalog was not correct.

Go to to TFMS choose the cat in question, choose "Request Service >> None of the above" and create a case using the following text:

Make sure to substitute all the <<placeholders>> in the email text.

Example Incorrect Name

After the show is over you realize the cat’s name in the catalog was not correct.

Go to to TFMS choose the cat in question, choose "Request Service >> None of the above" and create a case using the following text:
