Knowledge Base - What are the requirements to vote?

General Requirements

In order to vote in elections for the positions of TICA President, TICA Vice-President, Regional Directors or on rule changes, you need to fulfill the following requirements:

You must be at least 18 years old.

You must be a TICA member (Regular Member, voting Family Member, voting International Family Member, Life Member) in good standing (membership fees paid, no outstanding debts to TICA or TICA clubs, not on the Temporary Suspension List).

You must have been a member for at least 6 months prior to the election.

Requirements for Breed Committee Elections

In order to vote in Breed Committee elections, you need to fulfill all of the above requirements. In addition, you also must have been a member of the breed (group) section for at least 6 months prior to the election.
